Can I choose the type of room I stay in? (e.g. single, double, king, twin)
You will have the option to choose a single or twin/double room at the time of booking. You can request a preference for twin beds or one double or king bed, and this will be noted and passed on to our suppliers but cannot be guaranteed.

Can I personally choose the hotel(s) I stay in?
You can choose between Classic, Premium or Deluxe hotels on applicable experiences: these are listed on our Hotels page. You will be allocated hotels of your chosen quality category, depending on room availability at the time of booking. Our chosen hotels are all of the best standard within their category. Should none of the hotels listed on our Hotels page be available at the time of booking, we will contact you as quickly as possible and offer you alternative options or a full refund.

Will you send me a list of the hotels I’ll be staying in before I leave?
Yes. We’ll send a list of the hotels you’ll be staying at when your booking is confirmed.

Can I book extra hotel accommodation for extra nights before/after the tour through you?
It’s possible to book extra accommodation on some experiences: sometimes this is available as a standard optional extra during the booking process. Otherwise, please contact us for more information or make a special request in our ‘Tailored’ section. We have arranged early or late check-ins for some of our trips, and if they are included in the price it will be specified in the itinerary. We are also able to offer extensions to some trips, for travellers who wish to spend more time discovering a destination. These are normally offered as Extended Stay experiences.

Can I choose particular features of a room? (e.g. en suite, mini bar, view)
If you have preferences, for example rooms on a high floor away from the lifts, please advise these in our Special Requests section when prompted during checkout. All preferences are subject to availability and may incur a supplement. For example, if you request a sea view and the price is based on a mountain view, then it is likely to be at a supplement. All our hotels (except where stated otherwise, such as tea houses/guesthouses in the Himalayas) offer ensuite facilities.
