What is Awesome Experiences?

Awesome Experiences is a specialist provider of trips of a lifetime specifically designed around the needs of busy working people. We work with carefully selected and reputable Local Partners (overseas Destination Management Companies) to create and provide experiences for individuals, couples or small family groups, which require no more than one working week to complete. Are your experiences physically demanding?

Some (but not all) itineraries require a certain level of fitness. This is detailed on the Summary and Full Itinerary pages using the following symbols:

Before booking, we recommend consulting the Full Itinerary to check that you are comfortable with and able to participate in the activities included in your chosen experience. If in doubt, consult your doctor before booking. You must inform us of any pre-existing conditions, illnesses or recent surgeries that could affect your or others’ safety. And don’t forget to purchase a travel insurance policy that takes into account the activities included on your experience. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.

What do the icons mean?

We have created a selection of icons in order to help you understand more about our experiences at a glance, you will find them just above the tabs on our experiences pages. Below is a list of explanations for each icon:

Best Seller – This is used to indicate our more popular, best-selling, tours.

Fitness Level - These icons are used to indicate the required fitness level of our tours. One footprint indicates that a basic level of fitness is required, two footprints indicates that an intermediate level of fitness is required, three footprints indicates that an advance level of fitness is required.

New Experience – This icon is used to indicate new additions to our collection.

Pioneers Club Exclusive –This icon indicates when an experience is part of our Pioneers Club range and is available to be booked by our Pioneers Club members. To find out more about our Pioneers Club, and to sign up to gain access to exclusive Pioneers Club discounts, please head to www.awesomeexperiences.com/pioneers-club.

Must-Do Outdoor Experiences – This icon can be found on any of our experiences that fall under the Must-Do Outdoor Experiences category.

Spiritual and Yoga - This icon can be found on any of our experiences that fall under the Spiritual and Yoga Category.

Unique Annual Events - This icon can be found on any of our experiences that fall under the Unique Annual Events category.

Wonders of Wildlife - This icon can be found on any of our experiences that fall under the Wonders of Wildlife category.

World’s Greatest Festivals - This icon can be found on any of our experiences that fall under the World’s Greatest Festivals category.

Extraordinary and Secret Places - This icon can be found on any of our experiences that fall under the Extraordinary and Secret Places category.

Can I book if I don’t live in the UK?

Unfortunately, we can only currently accept bookings from UK residents with a UK postal address. We hope to expand to other countries in time.
