Can I bring my children?

We offer some trips that are great for families. However, others include age-restricted activities and so do not allow child bookings. See individual experiences for details.  

Do I need to book far in advance?

For some experiences, such as our popular Unique Annual Events, it is advisable to book as far as 11 months in advance. But we recognise that long-term planning and hectic schedules sometimes don’t mix, and last minute bookings may be available. However, please ensure that you allow enough time to get all travel documents in place as we cannot refund a confirmed booking in the event that you are unable to get a passport or visas in time for departure. We recommend that you check availability and approximate costs of flights to/from the UK before booking your experience, and secure these as soon as possible after you have received a booking confirmation email from us.

How many people can come on an experience?

We currently accept web bookings for up to nine people per trip, including children. If you would like to travel with a larger group, please get in touch via operations@awesomeexperiences.com and we will do our best to assist you. Hotels place limitations on the number of occupants per room, and you will be guided on this during the booking process. Solo travellers are welcome, but there is a single person supplement.

Will I be placed in a group of strangers or are all experiences private?

We aim to make all experiences private as far as possible, however elements of some trips can involve joining with other groups. This is made clear in the Summary and Itinerary pages.
